Responsibilities

OpenStack Job Description ResponsibilitiesPerform hands-on fixes at the server level, including installing and upgrading software and configuring systems applicationsManage and lead hardware and software migration and upgrade efforts of varying size and complexityManage backup and recovery efforts. Perform system failure analysis, ensuring the consistency and integrity of file systems. Record, track, and document the problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolutionInstalling, configuring and maintaining the Linux servers and workstations help tune performance and ensure high availability of infrastructurePerform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusionsPerform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as requiredSupport and maintain virtualization infrastructure, including configuration, performance, capacity, monitoring, provisioning, life cycle, security weekly and Monthly Status reporting track the tickets for closure within SLARequirements / Qualifications SkillsExperience with Linux servers in virtualized environmentsFamiliarity with load balancing, firewalls, etc. Experience with virtualization technologies should have strong OS administration skills on LinuxAbility to build and monitor services on production server experience in managing Data Center and VMware AdministrationExposure to Open StackExposure to ITIL framework technology StackLinux / Ubuntu, VMware, Cloud Computing like OpenStack, Hybrid CloudQualificationB.E or MCACertificationITIL v3 Foundation Level preferred Of Positions: 2 Experience: 2-7 Full Time
